Destinations
There are many great places you can travel by air once you get your pilots license! In fact we fly to many of these places during your training here at Alliance...
Sedona: Only 30 minutes away by air! This is a wonderful day trip for flight instruction. There is nothing more beautiful than the red rocks of Sedona from the Air.
Las Vegas: Less than two hours away by air! This is a great cross-county trip for the student instrument pilot. Plan your trip and land right in the heart of Las Vegas - one hundred yards from the strip!
San Diego: Also less than two hours away by air! Plan a cross-country flight right into downtown San Diego. Lindberg Field is only 5 minutes from Fisherman’s Wharf - and what a place to have lunch on your cross country journey.
Los Angeles: In just over two hours you can be in the Las Angeles area! Plan a flight that takes you to Disney land, Universal Studios, or Knotts Berry Farm! This is a great learning flight for those going regularly to the Southern California area.
Grand Canyon: In less than one hour you could be at the grand canyon! See the sight of the largest canyon in the world from the air while you are also honing your piloting skills in a Special Use Airspace!
