The Instrument Rating is a natural choice for many pilots who wish to fly more safely and with greater flexibility. Our training is designed to teach precision, safety, and efficiency while operating within the Air Traffic Control system, and prepares pilots for the challenges of flying in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC). Applicants for the Instrument Rating should plan on 40 hours of flight training and 15 hours of ground instruction.
Applicants can expect to invest between $9,000 to $12,000.
