The Flight Instructor Certificate allows you to teach others to fly and hones your own proficiency. Our training blends the theoretical knowledge you need with time-proven practical approaches that will equip you to truly communicate with your students. There are knowledge tests required for Fundamentals of Instruction, Flight Instructor Airplane, and Flight Instructor Instrument. Training required for the Flight Instructor Airplane (typically, the initial CFI certificate) is generally 10 hours of flight instruction and 30 to 40 hours of ground instruction.
Applicants can expect to invest approximately $7,500 for a Certified Flight Instructor Certification (CFI), and approximately $4,500 for a Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument Certification (CFII).
